As the campaigning season gets underway, the following news is flowing from the alehouses and inns:
The Bords are starting a campaign agains the Sarramores. The pressure on Friedland and Saxenia has been relieved by this, and fewer migrants are expected this year.
The Earl of Portsmouth has gathered men for another campaign against Bernicia, his attempts at gaining ground on the South-West bank of the Wye having been stymied the past four years due to supply problems.
Rumours of Jarls raising forces in Godenland
The Jarl of Wainbridge has marched into the mountains with a small force, his motives are unclear.
Falka, self-proclaimed Earl of Falka's Land, is preparing a counter-attack against the Prince of Arianwlad, who has contested his control of the disputed island.
Skirmishes are occurring between the Earls of Ottshaven and Earlshill over a small village called Midcopse.
No news from an Anglian venture into lands North-West of the Humber.
A number of small-time Anglian warlords are attempting once again to forge themselves states in South Anglia.
